Room was lovely, very comfortable and clean. Staff were both friendly and helpful with us, especially regarding our two year old boy. The pool was lots of fun and to top it off, their breakfast buffet was incredible, very high quality and decent variety (eggs, bacon, pancakes, toast, pastries). Would highly recommend staying there.
Wonderful stay. No problems at all. Very cool half split bathroom. I really liked that in our room and happy they accomadated my little one with everything he needed for sleep. The breakfast was really enjoyable to. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
We stayed here. The front lobby people were real friendly and helpful. The rooms are really nice and have a lot of things. They have an elevator, a pool, hot tub, gym, games room with table tennis Foosball basketball. Big hall too for weddings and events. 10/10 would recommend
Staff were very friendly but there simply werent enough of them for a busy weekend. When we arrived at the breakfast buffet on our first day there wasnt any coffee, hot water for tea, cold water or milk/cream for about 10-15 minutes. I didnt go down this morning but my daughter said that they kept running out of food. There clearly werent enough staff in the dining room and you would have had ample time to know how booked up you were since you were the host hotel for the Highland games. We leave tomorrow and we have yet to have our room cleaned. Yesterday staff knocked on our door at 4:55 pm to ask if we needed anything. Today they knocked on our door at 4:50 pm to ask the same question. Ive never stayed in a hotel where my room isnt fully serviced or beds made and things replenished before early to mid afternoon. Again, staff were friendly but you clearly also dont have enough people making up rooms.
Due to a cancelled flight in Halifax we were stranded in the wee hours of the morning. With the flight company they accommodated us on short notice and took care of us warmly as if we were family. The beds were soft and warm, the water pressure for a bath was hot and good! Drawing a bath took me 3 minutes! An unexpected but pleasant stay. Thanks everyone!
