Most of the rooms were recently renovated and are surprisingly nice! Our room was comfortable and even a little luxurious feeling for a motel. The washroom was not renovated and that was pretty clear compared to the rest of the room - but that was fine. There's a pool area which is cute for the summertime. The location is good. It takes only a few minutes to drive anywhere in Truro, this motel was relatively central. Breakfast was very basic, don't expect much here - mostly your typical sweet carb pastries, cereal, Yogurt, and oatmeal. The only real protein was boiled eggs. Overall, this was a decent place to stay overnight if you were just dropping by Truro.
Wasn't expecting much for an independent motel but we got a suite for a good price and it was very nice. All furniture and the room looked very nice and was comfortable. Breakfast was continental. Pool was warm.
From the road it doesn't look like much but once in the room was very impressed. Room was clean and comfortable. King bed suite has also queen pullout sofa bed. Outdoor pool was warm and appreciated after long drive. Small but nice morning buffet included in price. Conveniently located off highway for travelers like our family. Only criticism was the large garbage pile visible at back of parking lot.
Stayed few nights for a business trip. Parking was easy with your lot in front of your room. Check in was smooth. The beds and facility were clean. The continental breakfast had reasonable variety of food and was very useful. There werent lot of noises in the middle of the night but I did hear several toilet flush sounds radiating from neighbors room.
I stayed here on February 17, 2018 and was pleasantly surprised when entering the room. The decor was modern and cheerful, the room spotless and the bathroom had all the amenities one could ask for including natural soaps. The breakfast included in the price of the room was excellent and the breakfast area was also well decorated and very roomy. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. I could not have asked for more and will recommend Willow Bend to all my friends and family.
