Worst service ever! Was charged on my credit card for property destruction. When I called, the person who charged the amount told me it was for towel destruction. And if this was not ridiculous enough they argued without having actually seen any such towel. They also had the employee in charge of cleaning the said towel call and not only argue but scream over he phone.... For hand towels that were apparently ruined. The towels and were old and scratchy the beds hard and springny and the rooms dusty and smelly. Oh and if you want such a thing as shampoo you have to ask for some at the front desk where once again they were reluctant to give one of this small bottle for 3 person room. I do NOT recomendr
Tidal Bore Inn is an old-fashioned but clean motel. The owners are welcoming and helpful. The element that distinguishes this motel from many others in the region is the reasonable prices. A night costs seventy-four dollars while other motels of similar or even lower quality ask for one hundred twenty dollars or more for no valuable reason.
We stayed here after visiting Truro and rafting the Tidal Bore, and we couldn't have been happier. There was a mix up with my reservation (an error on Expedia's end) and after emailing the owner, he was happy to change my reservation to the correct date with no penalties. He was friendly when we arrived and even gave us our keys a bit early so that when we came back to check in later in the evening, we could have access to our room immediately. The rooms were clean and perfect for what we needed! The price was excellent and I would highly recommend staying here!
Clean. Reasonably priced. Seasonal. Nice location with being outside Truro but a short drive to get there. Unfotunately restaurant on premises is closed so do have to drive in to Truro. Dogs are welcome in certain rooms but cannot be left alone. No cats. Fee charged for late check out. Hair dryer didn't work. Equipped with fridge and microwave.
Staff was friendly and rooms were clean and quaint. The building was nice, nice view, easy to navigate location and quiet. Lots of seating outside, chairs, picnic tables etc. My only complaint was the bed quality but for the price it's a nice place!
