We came across this Restaurant by googling and we loved it so much we made a point of returning on our way back through from Cape Breton. It is not that far off any of the highways, easy to get too. Great service, amazing food and portions. All of us (8) loved our meal! Will highly recommend to any of our friends travelling through!
We didn't really enjoy our experience here. Our food was not great, kids chicken nuggets were overcooked and dry little pucks, hot turkey sandwich was bland, onion rings and fries were average, the burger toppings were not what were ordered, but we had already been waiting 40 minutes for our orders and the kids were hungry so we just ate. Server was friendly but we weren't able to get anything from her after our food came, like drink refills, I was only able to ask for more water when she brought the check.
Excellent family restaurant with great home-style cooking and hospitality. Able to accommodate groups too. We were a group of ten and everyone enjoyed their choices...do try to leave room for their wonderful pies for dessert!
Had an excellent experience here. Cheeseburger was a homemade Patty and the cactus cut fries are amazing. Portions were amazing and prices are incredibly fair. Dessert was a sea of our choices and came with generous servings of ice and whipped cream. I don't say this often but if I had a last meal, this is on the short list.
Great food and staff very friendly and cozy environment and was affordable also!
